I do not have pictures up yet, but my 720 basically destroyed itself during the haul of my collection down to Texas. This was due to a previous owner using a few badly placed dabs of Liquid Nails to hold the cab together rather than screws or dowels or anything resembling a fastener. Anywho, so far the only things I could salvage were the joystick and the PCB set (though the PCBs are going to need a lot of TLC). Pretty much everything else is damaged or destroyed.

The purpose of this post is to find everything else. Monitor, chassis, cabinet (or any part of it head/base/body), coin door, control panel, the boombox pieces, pretty much anything I can get my hands on that isn't the joystick or main PCBs.

If you have anything hoarded away, please Obi Wan, you're my only hope. I am still in the process of moving down to Texas, so please be patient with me. I am posting this now as I am sure it's going to take a while to unearth useful parts.

Once I have pics and can actually start work, I will post a rebuild thread for everyone's sadistic enjoyment lol.

Thanks

Cain

Holy shit, it'd be nice if you could find one of MarkrL's scratch built 720 cabinets. They were absolutely amazing. I don't know if he built any empties or if he actually populated them all himself before he sold them. Dude was a scratch building wizard.

If you tossed the Monitor Chassis and Yoke you've made your quest an order of magnitude more difficult.

Lets not forget that the lower plastic "H" shaped monitor glass retainer. That's made of Unobtainium

I haven't tossed anything, I know this is going to be a difficult build and may need to use damaged parts.

Then I suggest you reword your opening post because you've clearly stated you're looking for everything:

The 1st thing you're going to need to do here is go through the pile of debris and strip/remove/catalog what you've got. Screws, Plastic bits, wiring, CP clasps, ... literally everything you can take off the carcass and salvage.

Many of these parts you could substitute something else for (screws for example) but likely you'll be surprised at what you end up needing from the old cab.

Yes, I am looking for everything/anything I can find. Literally every part of the game has some sort of damage or is beyond repair.

I am very much used to having to cobble together working parts from odds and ends, so anything I can get my hands on is going to help me resurrect this poor thing. I do not usually deal with top to bottom restorations as my skill set is missing a lot to do this properly, but this is my grail and I can't just let it go to a landfill without trying.

Ah this is great advice, which will also help with getting a more defined list of what I actually need, so I will start here.
