Only 2 coin slots in front of the cab so would that rule out the Simpsons, xmen, etc cabs?

Coin door is small looks like setup strictly for 2 player games. There is no back door either like on my Xmen it has a hinge that only opens up half of the back.

Really curious to know if this is same cab the MK's are usually in

not really because some versions actually support a common coin mech. I'm with the other guy as this does look like a konami 4P cab or maybe an NBA jam?

The back door definitely doesnt look like Konami cabs I have seen... not that it is not a Konami cab. Monitor is definitely at least 27" as well

What reasons would you say its not a MK cab? Obviously I really want it to be

dedicated MK2's are rarely in such big cabs. I'd say it totally looks like a 4P cab of some sort and I know that NBA jam/open ice/etc. also printed "midway" on the side of the cp. It could be one of those perhaps...

Yeah after looking at some pictures I guess you guys are right.. the size of the monitor and back door really through me off.

I know I keep reaching but Golden Tee? The Monitor didnt look like it had a custom bracket for a 27" and the shroud is not there of course...

Not sure what cab you have but here are some picks of a MK2 to compare to what you have. These pick are before I cleaned it up, this was a barn find.

How big is the monitor? Is it a 33"? I have a red cab similar to the Konami cab that was built for the 33" conversion. It also has the 2 coin slot door. If I remember right it was an Ultimate MK when I got it but it was dead. The back door opens out and down on a hinge with a chain so it stops like a shelf.

Yeah it may be a 33" it seemed huge compared to the 25s Im playing at home... def not a 25"... I went and looked at the game today havent picked it up yet to double check the size.

Yes exactly has a hinge on back that opens up and had a MK2 kit manual attached to the part that pulls out in the back.only half the back pulls down and has the chain you can really only see the monitor chassis

Oh and it had the EXACT same 2 speakers in the top like in the picture! That looks like the exact same cab!

I think you nailed it! Is this just a general conversion cab? Meant for UMK3's?

Yep, This was a 33" conversion kit. I don't remember who made them but you could put whatever horizontal jamma game in there you wanted. The cp you see on mine in the pic I made myself. The one it came with had been modified so many times I threw it out and built a new one.

sans board? 50-150

looks like a konami cabinet to me but it's tough to tell without seeing the speaker area better. (definitely not a midway cabinet)

I am looking at my Xmen and TMNT cab right now and the one I looked at today is way bigger.

Pictures suck got them last second but it is definitely the one pictured and posted by Terminator.

This is an empty cab I think the guy was planning on MAME it... no board so Im trying to figure CP, Cab, and 33" beautiful monitor what its worth

Empty? I wouldn't pay over $75 for an empty cab. even with the monitor working or not. But that's just me. Ultimately it's up to you, What you plan to put in it and if you have the room for this over sized cab? It is much bigger than the Konami cabs. Will it fit through your doorway? or will it go in the garage?

Empty from a PCB standpoint... has all wiring, monitor, control panel etc...

Yup I understand and agree with you... curious what you thought the worth was. I was thinking 100 bucks for it as it is a very clean cab but it is a beast. Luckily my garage has a door going right into my basement which is pretty wide got my time crisis through no problem. I was really hoping this would be a good MK restore monitor looks great though may be my first and only MAME project... I still havent picked it up. Im kinda torn cause of the size

I had two, got rid of one. The one that went was a four player dungeons and dragons, and the other we still have is an alien vs. predator. They're massively beastly cabs, and they were, I think, originally built by dynamo for dedicated capcom games. As I understand it, they were the deluxe cabs for games like street fighter and d&d with the massive 33" monitor. By the way, if you ever decide to remove the tube from that an, have fun, lol. It is a nice cab to have, just be aware that it is a ridiculous pain to haul around, and a space hog. I wouldn't go any higher than probably $75 on it with no board, as it'll most likely cost you another $50 in gas to get it home, and another $100 in pizza, booze, and cash to pay your help to get it in the house.
