Help me figure out what to replace component-wise.

I've done a couple cap kit jobs here and there when they come in pre-made kits and such, but I'm in the process of revitalizing my fonz that is all original, and still works. I've made a couple lists of the caps and pots on the main board and monitor chassis, but I'd like to know what the components that I need to replace after 35 years.
I know that I should replace all the electrolytic caps, and I plan to change out most of the pots. I was also planning to change out the transistors and voltage regulators on the monitor. What I'm curious about are the oddball components that I don't see much on newer monitors such as Polypropylene Film Capacitors, and Metallized Polyester Film Capacitors. Do those types of capacitors degrade over time, and if so, would a place like mouser have them?
Thanks in advance!
