I have a harness that appears to be from a cocktail made by Atari but COULD be a cabaret.
The only information I have from the harness are the 2 tags numbers. The main harness is tagged :
ATARI A041133-01 REV A. BCCCM01
The tag is located right next to the 44 pin and 24 pin connectors.
The other tag on the harness is for the video portion:
VOLTA A040414-01 REV-A
Finally, the volume control panel has a part number of 037865-01 REV A
The only thing I can find is the volume control referenced in a DigDug cocktail manual. However, the harness does not coincide with these part numbers.
The harness is for a raster game and has 2 different raster monitor hookups for different pin configurations. As far as I can tell, there is wiring for player one and player 2 buttons but not for any main controls like a trackball or joystick.
Finally, there are only 3 hookups to the AR board that I can find:
a 9 pin connector populated with 8 pins, a 6-pin populated with 4, and a 4 pin populated with 2. Is this indeed a DigDug cocktail harness? I'm just trying to figure it out so I can either use it or sell it to somebody that could use it.
I also tried to follow the numberal progression of harness numbers but ran out of the early model harness numbers after Millipede. From then you go to Major Havoc and then system 1 and Gauntlet harnesses. Anybody have a reference that I am missing.
Yes, I checked Flippers.com and Scott's site and looked at numerous manuals on line at vernimark. Just trying to find something to verify my suspicion that it is a dig dug.
