HELP -- May have bought bootleg DK pcb on Ebay

bump :( can anyone explain bootleg pcb's for me...and thereby help me understand the severity of my predicament
 
Sometimes when a game became really popular, other companies wanted to cash in on that success. So they'd reverse engineer the game, make their own boards, and sell them. A bootleg board is a copy of some game not made or licensed for production by the company that created the original. Sometimes the names were changed a bit, like the Defense Command which was a bootleg of Defender (http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=7549), other times you couldn't tell unless you looked at the boards. Your DK appears to be a boot, based on this pic:

But I'm no Nintendo expert, so I can't say how gameplay of that board may differ from the real Nintendo version.
