I have a Stern Big Game which flickers the lights a bit when I hit the flippers.. so I converted all the lamps over to 6.3v LED's.. they look great and are definitely brighter, however, they all flicker like a fluorescent light.. I'm not sure if this is the lamp driver board or rectifier.. Any help or suggestions??

Thanks!

Rule out bad connectors first.

Is there any way to get my current lamp driver board to work with LED's.. or do I really have to buy a different lamp driver board? Any suggestions to get the LED's to work properly are always welcome!

Thanks!

Mike

Another option would be to put caps across all of the lamps that are flickering but that could be quite time consuming.

Like Ed said, connectors will probably solve some of your problems but there will inevitably still be some flickering. The connectors at the rectifier board AND the lamp driver could probably stand to be replaced.
