I found 4 more Frogger stacks in my pile while looking for something else today so I decided to put them up on the bench.

This is only the second Konami Frogger I have found and I don't have the first one for reference.

I'm hoping someone can take some pics of the back of the bottom board.

One of the jumper wires was pulled off one end and I'm trying to see where it should go. Nothing obvious from area it pulled from so any help is appreciated.

I suggested a strategy. your eyes aren't as good as mine though. have you tried the microscope?

my exact words: I would follow the other end of it stretched to see roughly where it goes, look for fresh solder. or cut traces

someone help ME help Scuba

I would identify the IC and pin the hanging wire is currently connected on one end. Then use the schematics to see where it should link to.

This is a Sega/Gremlin board, so I know it's not really what you're looking for... but it has jumper wires which may be similar, or maybe someone in the future will come across this post. Unfortunately I don't have a Konami Frogger board here.

my Google Fu is usually very strong, there's almost nothing for the Konami version. @SCUBA King has a microscope, pull the wire roughly as far as it needs to go and find the fresher solder. or look for the cut traces. lol

also Scuba, mark little symbols next to the wire ends in case others break off or take a lot of pictures like I do. just useful ones, don't miss the useful stuff like I often do. :ROFLMAO:

UPDATE -

So I was digging in my stash tonight looking for another part and I found another Konami Frogger boardset.

NO JUMPERS.

Will see WTF and clean up the ones on the other now as it seems like they are prob not factory...
Will report back

Look at my post #4, whoever did these jumpers was just following the schematics…

L-1200 is Scramble so they are both Scramble boards.

In addition to missing ROMs it's also missing the protection chip at 6J on the sound board so you'll need to run unprotected code

@mhcapps has let me borrow his Konami Frogger. No jumpers on the back. Cut traces and some jumpers on the front.

Will strip boards apart and take high res pics of both sides of both boards in case anyone else needs info in the future.

I will use his working board to trace mine and possibly run new jumpers.

I have a Frogger PCB that I just got this past weekend. Remind me to text you pics when I get home.

No jumpers on other Konami bottom board (working) that I borrowed.

The jumpers on the back of mine corresponded with all orange wires on borrowed that were jumpered, much more cleanly, on the top of the board, however mine was missing any wire at all from ic24 to ic73 (purple wire).

I cleaned up and rerouted mine on the front and added purple jumper, no changes.

I did notice that ic73, 74LS368 failed while out of circuit so I'm wondering if that has something to do with the missing jumper / shifted to the back of the board ?

I still have a shitton of rusty shitty fushitsu ics on here so I'll keep poking but feel more confident now that the jumpers are in correct position.

Also note, the "guess" location I tried for the wire that was pulled up originally, was actually correct.

More to report, eventually. I'll let you know what I find next.

Thanks again to @mhcapps for lending me this one for toning out and trace / jumper / cut trace comparisons.
