Help Identifying Boards Star Wars Trilogy Deluxe Arcade

Ok, I have info/more pics about the game in a different thread but this is more of a tech questions.....I have the DLX version with force feedback. I want to gut monitor portion and run game off a flat screen with converter. Here are my questions.

1. Opening the back of the projector monitor housing, there are 4 shelves of boards. Consulting with the manual it appears as if the game boards are housed on 2nd to bottom level(see pic)----was trying to find the video output(VGA) to test game with convertor.

2. There is a massive power supply in bottom shelf....is that for the projection TV?? I have pretty much confirmed that the top two shelves are for the toshiba monitor but want to be sure.

3. Joystick (force feedback) is only moving to left. I noticed two grounds aren't connected in first go round of testing where the seat meets the monitor base.....however the joystiq desperately needs a good cleaning. Does anyone have part list (more so where I can buy) joystiq springs and pots?

So I completely missed the location of the Model 3 board.....must have just been out of it when I first wrote original post, so I found the Model 3 cage/boards on side of monitor. Now back to all the boards housed in the bottom shelves of the monitor....what ones would I actually need to keep to play the game without the projection monitor......sooooo many wires!!!!!!

Star Wars trilogy is medium res. We had an early model LCD tv that worked hooked straight up to it, but all the newer ones we tried wouldn't sync down that low. Got lucky with that first one.

The cheap gonbes adapters will work with most of the newer tvs, provided they have vga in, and you tweak the settings on the board.
The picture was a bit washed out, but admittedly, I didn't fool around with it too much.

These are the notes I have left, don't have access to the game or the board any longer.
25KHz EGA mode – set Clamp st=56, Clamp sp=61

Ok getting this project back on track....has anyone had any experience with extending wire harnesses??? There are about 10 (give or take)wire connectors coming from the monitor base connecting into the seat base.......I need about an extra 10 feet with what I'm trying to do the set this game up and make it fit in basement. So if I cut off all the connectors and solder on 10ft of wire and then reattach harness does anyone see issue with this???

You'll want to be careful extending the harness. Theres power for the lights and the joystick feedback motor in there. I'd probably use thicker lines for that so they don't burn up. The rest of the lines should be for the buttons, and the joystick data. I'd imagine you might get a bit of interference on that long of a run, maybe less if you use shielded wire.
For ease of movement later, I'm gonna recommend using the existing connectors(or different ones if the originals are hard to match) and using them to make a removable extension harness. That way if you move it in the future, it's easy to disconnect.
