Hi - I have in my collection a Taito board that I am *fairly* sure is 1970's era.

It is a large PCB no EPROMs or CPU full of 74 series TTL about 120 in total and three 24 pin DIP IC's (all the chips have their numbers scrubbed off -grrrrr ) it appears that all the chips have been soldered in by hand judging by the flux marks on every single solder join.

The rows are numbered 1 to 13 and the colums A to O
It has the Taito logo (in PCB etch) with these identifiers (also in PCB etch)

WN0 70004
WNN 00001-B

It has two printed ink markings both 020538 - the serial number (?)
Other than that no other markings - it has a single 21 finger edge connector.
I have had this board for more that 10 years and never been able to find out what game it is.

Anyone out there got a clue what it could be?

Thanks for the suggestions & useful links, much appreciated !

However, still no closer to a match - the Taito board id list on Mikes Arcade is good - but the one I have is not there (numbers do not even come close)
I wonder if the prefix numbers WNO are Wire Network Order ?

If anyone out there is interested enough I can upload a pic - your right it needs more words to describe the board I have.

was searching for this board too and came across this thread

I believe its a Taito Speed Race 1974 from the part faint sticker on one of them

Can you dump any eproms from it?
Then you could use ROMIdent to find out what you got there. :)

Edit: Looked at the last pic posted, and it doesn't seem to be any socketed eproms on it?

Just sold two of these so can't touch them. Can definitely see a partial speed, race is just visible on the folded sticker. This is a discrete logic board pretty cool to show even if not going to use it.
