I can't really find any references other than people thinking it is a Space Invaders, but I am not sure I agree. ItIS from a Midway L shaped board set like SI and the part number on the game board states:

MIDWAY MFG. CO.
FRANKLIN PARK, ILL.
MM TI
0619-00902B

The thing that makes me think it's not a Space Invaders is the two volume pots on the board. One is labeled 'MUSIC' and one 'AMPL' - I've never seen this on a SI board. Also there are two DIP switches, one stating 'OPTION SW' and one the has 'UPRIGHT' on one side and 'TABLE' on the other. There however 4- 7716 ROMs on the main board though and that matches up with SI and a few other games. I will eventually try to pull a ROM and see if I can read it and identify the game from that, but I am not sure yet.

I've attached a picture - any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Greg

scatch that. I just looked at my SE boards and its not the one. Though it looks a LOT like the SE sound board.

...and it was right on that table I linked to and I didn't correlate the two...

Just came back up from looking at the ROMs and they are labeled DP0E, DP0F, DP0G and DP0H so I would have to agree as well. At least the information is now archived for future use. Anyone need a Double Play boardset?

I currently have my SID game board connected to it with my multigame board and the main board passes all tests and tries to start the SI game so it loks like at least all RAMs are good. The only problem is that as the SI game is supposed to start to display it sits for a few seconds and seems to watchdog, so somthing is not right somewhere. Not sure if I can uise this to run SI - but I thought I could...

Tracing out the watchdog circuit now.....

Thanks for the help!
Greg
Midway game #619 is Double Play.

The reason the watchdog isn't working is because the reset circuit comes through the daughterboard connections (to the mainboard). Without it, it no workie. You can try grounding the reset pin on the processor to see if it'll boot.

Or better yet, just take the entire double play boardset and plug it into the SI cab but ONLY the mainboard plug. If it doesn't need the reset circuit that will get it to attract mode at least.

Ps - A little tip regarding that ID table...often that 3 digit code will be written on the motherboard in marker, at least a bunch that I have seen are like that anyway.
