Have a playchoice NES system. Game is playing blind. Chassis looks to be in rough shape. Can someone help identify it?

How about an A-ONE SC1-HB?? I did find this in small print on the solder side. I was able to find one picture on the net, as far as cap kits and such, any idea wear one might find some replacement parts?

Been looking around. It looks identical to the Korean AP-621 found here.

A-One is a A-One Korea brand. The picture you found on Bob Roberts page is probably correct. BTW, A-One Korea became Kortek.....also, a lot of the Imperial monitors were re-branded Kortek monitors.

OK,,anyway. I recapped what I could. There were only like 3 caps I didn't have on hand. I turned it on and waited and watched, all seemed good on the chassis, so I went around front to check picture. HHMM, black screen and then "POP" and some smoke coming out the top grill. I shut it down as quick as I could and noticed smoke still coming from the long white box connected to the HOT. I will replace the HOT and they say you should do the flyback at the same time? Also, what could be causing this to blow, or could it just be faulty?

I should probably start a new thread and maybe a picture or two.
