Back in the day there was a game that from memory came out around xevious , maybe a sort of copy ,
As your ship flew over different types of ground , i remember flying over grey steel type sliding windows , shutters , they would fire at you once opened i think ,

They also covered the whole screen , so it looked like you were flying over some type of huge mothership .

That`s all i can remember , i have kloved the shyst out of the index , i cannot find it .

Sorry that`s not alot of info , but basically , greyish shutters opened and closed over the whole screen , and it sort of was like xevious .

hope somebody knows it , as i might add the pcb to my collection .

This has been another RetrOmatic broadcast !

HUMMM any other details???

Those shutters , well as you flew over them they seemed to be panels either on the ground , or part of a building or a mothership , they were about an inch and a half square , all side by side , but opened randomly , and a bullet came out at you , so im tipping , you had to shoot enemies as well , damn i`m sorry thats all i can remember , but i remember that part fairly well .

sad thing is , it will be just one stage from the game that i remember

Slap Fight (not seen it in years though)

WOW , slap fight was almost it , unless you fly over a whole screen full of opening shutters on this game , it aint it .

Klov states , Slaphappy is a copy of Alcon , which was a UK game , very interesting read actually , if you read Klovs Alcon page .

i think Slap happy is too recent by a year or 2 , but very similar fly over

i can remember flying from right to left in the game im talking about .

Slap happy has the synth sounds of Haleys comet , [ to a tee ] , not the tune , but the sound voicing / tones , i would bet my left nut , the same guys did the sounds on both !!!!

Sounds a lot like Scion by Cinematronics.

(the original Japanese version is attributed to Seibu Denshi, the geniuses behind the Raiden series of the JAMMA era)

No not Scion ,this game had sharp xevious type graphics , and at one early stage , you flew over opening window type shutters , that took up the whole screen , sort of looked like panels , i`ll find it sooner or later

I hope you're not mis-remembering Zaxxon, where you fly over alien ships and have holes that open up to shoot missiles at you....
