Help ID this B&W chassis

Can any one ID this chassis
I think that it is from a JAP space invader clone in Australia

Would like to know what it is and what voltage to supply

What would be the normal voltage for a B&W chassis if there is such a thing as normal.
Or any indicators that might help me to make an educated guess.

Most I have seen used 120v, but something unique to Japan would more likely use 100vac. Is there more to this chassis? Most black and white chassis have an isolation transformer built into the frame.

Another thing you can check is the voltage regulator. Once you ID the regulator you can look up its specifications to find out what voltage input range it works in. Then backtrack the input power and determine what the ideal input voltage would be.
 
Kinda looks like a B&W chassis out of a taito cocktail space invaders or other taito game of the era. Not much info out there. Good luck

I think it is made in Japan for use in Australia.
Not a Taito they use the Hitachi, so it is probably an old B&W TV chassis from the time.

The fuse is 125v and the large transistor in the power section is a D613 and from what I can find is rated at 85V and 6A.

Assuming I powered this from the 110V isolation transformer, would the rectification circuits drop the voltage to 85v before it entered the transistor?

Hi Kevin

The 85V is a rating. The deflection circuit would run at + and - 24 to 30 Volts only

The 85 volt rating ensures it won't burn out, IE they over-rate the components to last.

A transformer would reduce the 110V down to 50v to 60v (grounded centre tap) giving 25 to 30 pos and neg either side on GND

I have looked everywhere, not much info on the old black white stuff around.

Taito Asteroids is progressing slowly however moving forward cleaning and getting parts.
