Picked this thing up, thought it was a Ms Pacman conversion, but looking at the board, Im not so sure.

Note the cashbox door location....

The boardset says, maybe? MS PC-693-88.9 Also there is a little red sticker that says TESTED 10/20/82 J.T.

Its a two board set connected with a ribbon cable. There is one POT on it, presumably for volume. No dip switches that I see

What do you guys think?

that might be that odd-ball 2-piece pac boardset...

Ive been Googling arcade pcb 1982 and havnt seen anything that matches, although it says TESTED 10/20/82, so maybe its a 1983??

What about the cabinet? Has a little plastic cashbox behind the lower door, a mono speaker, absolutely no papers, decals, wording, anything!!!!!!!! Mystery cabinet

You should probably post a pic of the side of the cab. Granted there are some frighteningly knowledgable people here, but that would help us lesser Gods ID it.

That looks close, but..... That one shows a large connector at the top, and this one doesnt have that. Looking close there are a few differences. I may havta try to fire it up to see what it is...... The monitor actually looks good and clean and original. The wiring looks like it has never been hacked, however something has chewed up some of the wires, although I can easily tell where everything goes due to the colors. Im off tmw, so i may try to splice the broken wires and flip the switch.

Any idea on the cabinet?????

It's labeled as Ms. Pac, so it probably is.

The Centuri Eagle boardset looks similar, too, but with some differences...

Yeaahhh, it only has one ribbon cable, but Im going to see about repairing temporarily the wiring tmw and trying to fire it up. The outside of the cab looks bad, but it is not swollen or damaged at all around the bottom. The inside looks pretty good, actually. May havta restore it, but im gonna see wht is happening with the monitor and the board.

Any ideas on the cabinet? Havnt found a match yet, it has two inset handles on the back, and wheels on the bottom back, kinda like the old Taito cabinets. there also is a number stamped into the top which say 00017, so whatever it is, it is an early one

Didn't realize Orca did a Pac bootleg. It looks like a clone of the PAC-1/PAC-2 boardset, minus the extra Falcon pinout edge connector (where the big open space is on the one corner). It does have a dipswitch, located near the edge connector between the bank of disc caps and the volume pot. It's also got the alternate name (not used on Ms Pac) and difficulty jumper pads on the board next to the dipswitch.
