Just got this untested mystery monitor here.

http://webpages.charter.net/pinballarcade/Mystery Monitor/

The tube, chassis, neck board and flyback all have Mitsubishi markings. On one sticker it says SEGA Enterprises with a part # of S-96781-P. On a separate sticker there are 3 #'s:
E-36566
510REB22
0A 00474

It kinda looks like a TV that was converted to an arcade monitor. I know wells had zenith do this for them on the K7000.

A google search did not find anything useful. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Robert

Edited the numbers. The super zoom of my pics showed me what my eyes could not see. Tube # is 510REB22 and it shows up in the BK set up guide as a CR27 socket. That's all I got so far.

I've got a Nanao here from a hangon, but the chassis is much smaller. This one seems to be 120v where the hangon monitor is 100v also.

Sure did. I haven't even hooked this one up yet. Wanted to gather some info. I'm going to have to fashion a rgb and sync connector as it just has loose pins. The power connector is non standard too. Also has a 2 prong plug on it. I imagine in needs an ISO, but don't know.

Dokert, I added 3 more pics if you wanna take a peak to see if they help you.

Yes, it needs an iso.

The additional pics won't help me, as I can't tell one Nanao from another Nanao on sight.

I went thru all of my Nanao pics, and no hits.

I think it's a really old Kortek (I have no idea which), possibly an attempted copy of the G07-CAO?

Why do I think that? Well, here's a pic of the corner of your neckboard:

And here is a pic of a corner of the neckboard on the newer Kortek KTM-20:

Nice call, you may be right. If it is a Kortek, Ken Layton would know for sure what it is.

Look at the logo on the neckboard in photo 2988. That's the Mitsubishi logo on there. Now look at the markings on the tube label in photo 2985. See the Mitsubishi logo there too?

The circuit boards were made by Mitsubishi and the tube was also made by Mitsubishi would tend to indicate this monitor was made by Mitsubishi.

This mounting style looks like it's in a Frogger cabinet or it was made during the Frogger era.

This is definitely NOT a Kortek monitor.

I was gonna say the same thing.

So, we are looking at a Sega branded Mitsubishi manufactured monitor from the early 80's. Possibly pre-nanao as the other nanao's I've seen have nanao silkscreened on them. Sounds good to me. Thanks for all the help ID-ing this.

Looks almost exactly like the one in my original frogger w/ a sega labeld tube. The only difference I see is the focus adjustment is different on mine. If you find where to buy a flyback, let me know. The chassis in mine has been "worked on" plenty before I got it. Just started messing with it again tonight after feasting! The numbers I've come up with from mine are...
nanao 97334-p
sharp (sega) 97232-p

Maybe this will help you out.
