I am a brand new Tempest owner so I am a little biased; however, I would like to have a Star Wars cabinet as well if I had enough room. For me, it would come down to price. In my short experience in this community, I have generally seen a significant gap between the average sale price of a Tempest and a Star Wars cab. I have seen a ridiculous steal or two on here for a SW but when some one does steal one it's generally thread-worthy on here. Most of the SW cabs I have seen for sale are several thousand bucks where the avarage sale price for a working Tempest is 700 to 900 bucks.
With 20 games already in your collection, if you find the SW gameplay somewhat underwhelming....well, you've still got a game that will hold its value and 20 other games to hold your attention.
Including the one I bought, I think I have seen three other Tempest cans come up for sale in as many weeks. The fact that both games are available to you locally is a small coup in and of itself; however, if the price is right....I might have to go for the Star Wars, even though I like Tempest better.
