I've got a strange issue on my Simpsons pin and could use some help. I purchased a LED score display from Rottendog a few months back and everything works with the exception of the lower half of the bottom row on the display (see pic) I worked with Jim from R.D. and he had me send it to him, however it works fine on his end so the problems on my end. Any ideas of where I should start looking to fix this issue? I've already ruled out the ribbon cable and other connectors but any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks.

I'd guess you have a problem with the display controller board. Pinrepair had a pretty extensive write up on troubleshooting such things but it is of course now gone.

what makes me guess about the ribbon cables being backwards. I had the same kind of thing with my Pinled Display when i installed it into my Fire machine.

There is a Red Line in ribbon cables you need too match that with the other one .

one would think if the ribbon cable is bass ackwards, the whole display would be funk-a-doodled, maybe not

PM me your email address and ill send you the pinrepair section on troubleshooting the display

Yea, I went through the whole ribbon cable checklist, no change except when I actually DID hook it up backwards - then it was really messed up.

UPDATE - I ended-up sending my MPU and LED score unit to Huck's for repair. He was able to fix it and now it works great. Huck was great to work with and a fast turn around time.
