Help choosing a video camera to tape scores for twin galaxies

We don't own a video camera (aside from our digital camera having this capability)

And I have NO idea what to look for.

I do know that I need it to have the ability to record for like 15 hours at least.

And obviously I would love to find one for a cheap price.

I typed in video camera on ebay and got 25,000 hits.

Love a couple of suggestions.

I bought this as a nice 720p HD camcorder

Sanyo Xacti

I had the flip but i wanted to do a webcam so i could have unlimited space for the time we have party's, sitters etc and this worked real good at linking up with windows video software.

You can also buy a high capacity sd card and tone down the resolution and get tons of video recording with it.

This is what I would suggest as well.

The ability to use it as a web cam and record live to a PC is a nice feature. Then the video length is only limited by the free hard drive space on your computer. (although if that's the only way you plan on using it, you might as well just get a cheap webcam) Otherwise, it looks like that Sanyo will do just over 11hrs continuous with a 16GB SD card: http://sanyo.com/xacti/english/products/vpc_cg10/spec.html so you'll wanna get a 32GB (Class 6 likely) SDHC card if you need over 15 hrs.
