So I got my first pinball machine recently but the scoring is off on the bumpers by a ton!! It should b 100 points I think for each hit, but the computer registers 100,000! 😖 Any ideas on where I should start? It doesn't look like there's been any rewiring or major repair work. All the other scores register properly and the game functions nearly perfect besides that. Please help #lost

Is this the EM Charlie's Angels or the SS?

The EM version would be a great find for a first pin.

EDIT: I guess your description mentioning the "computer" is a giveaway...

I'll bite.

Can you upload a video with what part is registering the extreme score, and also the backbox showing all the displays when it registers so much? Please make sure you have sound also.

Nothing on the game gives you 100,000 points. By your description, this is impossible to happen unless it increments itself by 100 points 1000 times. I just want to narrow down a possible mistake with the description of the problem.

Vids won't upload:/

Man I've been trying and trying but the vids I take, no matter the length, won't upload after being compressed by the attachment manager in the attach files button🙄 Ahhhhh I really want this game to work right. I'm gonna keep trying to load this vid

I put mine on Youtube, and then link the video in the post that you make here. It's in the help file.

Or I wonder what the possibility is of the CPU having the wrong game ROM?

That's a complete possibility.

To the OP: Can you take a picture of inside of your backbox? (The portion of the game where the score displays are located).

It should open with a key on the side of the backbox, and the front panel swings out on its hinge (with the backglass). There are circuit boards inside there, if you can take a picture of all 3 of them, that'd help a bit too.
