A local has a BOTTOM OF THE 9TH for sale. No biggie itself, but the cab is a PUNCH OUT cab. Both monitors appear to be working. What would the difficulty and or cost associated with collecting up Punch Out parts to revive this travesty?

Dude wants $250.00 for the cab as-is... way too much IMHO, but he wanted $400 at one time. I was considering offering him $150.

It actually wouldn't be too tough. All you need is a PCB, CPO (hoping the cp isn't thrashed), sideart, a Nintendo stick, buttons and wiring harness. If you can get it for $150, I would say go for it. The harness should be easy to find considering the PC-10 (dual) used the same one (or so I have been told). The PCB may be pricy though...

This is what I am doing with a PC10....converting to a Punchout cab. Wasn't sure if the wiring harness is the same, haven't looked.

Frizz, wth do you think two monitors are going to cost you alone? $100 per monitor and $50 for the cab is a reasonable asking price.

Absolutely agree. Pay the $250, sell the BotN kit for a few bucks, & go from there.
