Well, I decided to take the big plunge into the forums. While video games in general have been a massive hobby throughout my entire life, it was the arcade game that enamored me more than anything else and I began to research the ins and outs on what makes an arcade game work. I was pleased to see how deceptively simple it was (at least regarding arcade boards that use the JAMMA standard anyway.) Eventually, utilizing all of my self-taught knowledge, I was able to successfully build my very own cocktail arcade cabinet. This wound up giving me a massive boost in confidence and lead me to continue to pursue further ventures into the realm of the arcade although I am still very much an amateur. Due to my age, I haven't necessarily "lived it" like many others have but even so, I hope I can be accepted as a part of the arcade family.
My main interest lies in late 80s to early 90s arcade games.
