I've been dabbling in emulators for a while now, but decided I really want some dedicated cabinets. I grew up in the 80s and spent every spare minute and quarter in the arcades. Every minute between classes in college was spent playing Robotron. The washateria in my apartment complex when I was attending college had a Robotron, so, needless to say, Robotron is on my short list. My wife is a big fan of Ms. Pac Man, so I've got to hunt down one of those. Honestly, I'll probably stop when my wife says "enough."

I had no idea these groups even existed until recently. I'm eagerly looking forward to learning more about the machines, and getting a couple of project cabinets started.

Welcome to the addiction from Sugarland! You'll be thankful you have someone to tell you "enough" in this hobby ha!

I have 3 Ms. Pac cabs I believe that need refurbished. If you need/want one restored nicely, I'm the guy. I can provide referrals, pictures and you are more than welcome to come see my collection and shoot the breeze. PM me if interested.

Welcome to the forums, you'll find the Houston group of people are pretty awesome and willing to help. Enjoy the craziness that is the arcade hobby.

She'll be happy to tell me "enough." I'm not very good at listening.

I'm looking for a Ms Pac fairly cheap (isn't everyone?), and about 70 to 80%. I want to learn on a fixer-upper, but not a complete basket case. If you've got something in that realm, shoot me a message.

I recently moved from spring and down around the heights area, have you visited the Game Preserve?

Went by the Game Preserve Saturday. It's a nice little place. I asked the guy if they ever have any cabinets or parts for sale. He looked at me like I was crazy, and said, "We don't sell anything."

Hmmm... ok. Anyway, nice place.

That sounds like yellowdog. Yeah. They like to build up the army of machines. Makes sense. However if you're ever looking to unload a machine they want they're very open to negotiation. Or so I hear.

Odds are it was one of the kids at the desk anyway... about 3 times out of 4 it isn't one of the owners manning the front desk...

All of the owners are genuinely nice, helpful folks.

So, where are all the games for sale in Texas and surrounding areas. It looks like the only people selling are on the East and left coast! :)

Everything on Craigslist is either overpriced or in really bad shape. Where else would you look in the Houston area, or Texas. I've heard there's a warehouse in Brenham which sells off their stock, but haven't found it.

Nice! Great to find the shared passion out there, eh? There is a TON of great info, advice, knowledge and whatnot here. Dive in and enjoy!

The former OK Coin-Op folks moved off their forums and on to Facebook. They do their buying/selling there.

We also have 2 groups in North Texas on there.
