Just saying hi.
Long time lurker and follower of the forums.
I'm in the NH area (not far from the infamous Funspot) and currently own a Pac-Man upright (low serial # and mostly original parts).

I'm in Portsmouth. But my gf and I get up to Funspot once every couple of months or so. (We were just up there last weekend, and it looked like they've reopened, but we didn't dare go in, lol.)

You should add your location to your account profile, and enable it being displayed, as most people here do. It comes in handy for finding other local folks, doing deals, etc.

Thanks andrewb. Funspot has indeed reopened (I've been once so far and it's good to have it open again). They took advantage of the downtime to spruce up the place...new carpets, new games and better arrangement of cabs by manufacture and/or genre.

Oh wow, new carpets. That's one thing I've LONG been saying were desperately needed. They spent $500k redoing the bowling lanes a couple of years ago, but the carpets were way overdue. I'll look forward to seeing that next time.

Definitely long overdue but it is being done in stages, so some areas are still not done. There was a note near the the various stairways indicating that replacement was being done in slow stages due to supply shortages or something as a result of Covid 19.

Funny, I'd almost be fine if they kept the old carpet in the classics room, as it wasn't that bad up there, and it sorta went with the decor.

But at the lower levels (and yes, on the stairs especially), it was pretty disgusting. Just a solid mass of 40 years of dirt.
