Hello,
I am located on the rolling hills of the Palouse here in Eastern Washington. Grew up in North Idaho in the 80's so arcade machines are in my blood. I started to collect and restore the machines in 2000, but got out of it when I moved in 2005. I always kept my first machine: Tron.
I started to get machines again a couple years ago. Over the summer I picked up a Crime Fighters machine that was in a Gauntlet cabinet. After looking around online I found this forum and lurked around reading for months. After reading Ckasek's Gauntlet Restoration / De-Conversion post: https://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=224284 , I became motivated to bring back that Gauntlet.
Also lurking around this forum, I found a source for a replacement harness from Level99, which saved me time from going through the Digi-key catalog trying to find old 11-pin Molex connectors!
I am taking pictures of the restoration and I will post them soon.
Thanks for reading!
