Hello Everybody! I am Olivia from Chandler. My partner Kaydee and I are starting to revive my old collection that I built up between 2003 and 2006 before life put everything on hold for a while.
Right now in the house we have dedicated Robotron, Joust, Q*Bert, Centipede (w/ Millipede), Star Wars, Crystal Castles (cocktail) and Track and Field (cocktail), as well as a cocktail 60 in 1 vertical. Since we got those setup and accessible again our kids have wanted to turn them on for a while every day! Its been really fun to share relics of my childhood with them!
Once our painter finishes up some final touches in what will be our arcade, I will be emptying 21 cabinets (!) from the climate controlled storage room and purging as little as I have to to make it all work! In there aside from a few empty/project cabinets we have either working or mostly working Tron, 720, Missile Command, Paperboy, Tempest, 3 system 1s with all kits (excluding Peter Packrat), Burgertime, Afterburner, Blasteroids, Xevious, Xybots and Tac-Scan. The notable project cabs are a pole position (empty but I have lots of parts), Spy Hunter (really rough cab but i believe I have a complete set of parts for that) and an empty Firefox machine (in good shape with controller but no FF parts).
So, we certainly have some work to do as we put this all together into something we can display and have people over to enjoy
I'm super optimistic, as the first day we really decided to go forward with this, my partner jumped right in and we upgraded the batteries on the Robotron and Joust, diagnosed and solved a power problem on Q*Bert, replaced some dodgy power cords, replaced a super noisy fan on the track and field cocktail and cleaned up the crime against electricity that was the wiring in the 60 in 1, so we are off to a good start! Generally speaking, that's the kind of work my machines need along with lots of little cosmetic repairs.
I'm really excited to get back into this again!
