Just a quick note to say a public thank you to DJ DNS for letting me crash his arcade for a few hours last week.

THANK YOU !!!

The family and I were in the Virginia area for Spring Break last week. After hitting up the White House, a couple of museums, and Jamestown Settlement, I was in desperate need of mashing a few buttons.

DNS was kind enough to invite me over to his place to check out his amazing collection. I am always amazed by the kindness of collectors in this hobby willing to let a virtual stranger come into their homes to share their collection.

I had the opportunity to play several games that I had never played before - Mad Planets, Reactor, Timber, Tin Star, Wild Western, and Front Line. I also got to play games that I hadn't played in 25 years or more - Star Castle and Kick.

It was a great time. I wished I could have stayed longer. What an amazing collection of unique, rare, and immaculate games!

Thanks again sir!

Totally agree. I stopped in to get a game awhile back and he graciously let me play a bunch of games I had never played on dedicated machines before. Great guy.

About half of my games came from Darryl

wish I had a video of him, me, and one of my friends loading a 2p super gt and ikari warriors in the smallest uhaul you can get with no ramp in frigid conditions. we ended up having to put the super gt cabs vertically, with the monitors facing up, seats in the air, and it was still a ridiculous fit. it was totally stupid on my part to go with the smallest uhaul and to not even check if it had a ramp (I assumed they all had one) We got it done though. I just remember us going back and forth, looking for a light, freezing to death, trying to figure out how to make it work. In the end it was pretty satisfying to get it all in the truck. So I would have to say he's good at solving problems and putting up with my nonsense.

I'm sure Darryl has dealt with crazier shit than that though with all the games he has bought and sold over the years.

Good meeting you too for the first time also. I appreciate you making sure all my games still work and playing them until you were able to put your high score on all of them lol. I dealt with so many klovers over the net, that it's always great meeting people face to face. That's one reason why I dont mind taking road trips and another is seeing other collectors game rooms/garages & games. Your welcome to come through anytime and same goes for any other klover.

P.S. Thanks for all the compliments.

P.S.S. Hey tcleary I honest think out of all the hundreds of games I helped load yours was the craziest.

I'm 95% sure it will go down this year. Just need to find a good day & month for everyone. I would like to combine it with a major blow out sale / swap meet. I would like to get all the parts out my home theater room and most parts out of my parts room and set up one of my garages to house everything, but it might me to hard trying to handle the basement and garage so I have to try to come up with something that would work. I would like everyone that comes to leave with something (games or parts).

Alright Darryl. It's time you host a party :)

Yeah I got them in. I been in and out of town lately and forgot to pm you back, sorry about that. I'll send your straps back this week. Thanks for the a lot for the help.

DJDNS Did you get my PM? Just wanted to make sure you got the games ok.

Thanks Steven

When it does go down just make sure you have atleast some type of SUV. I should be getting in a lot more stuff in the next few weeks, so I will have a big inventory by then.
