I'm going to install a cork floor in a room that has a Space Duel upright cabinet. I'm planning on putting the game on a piece of plywood with matching floor on top and carpet underneath (so I can slide it).

How do you protect your floors?

My machines are in the basement on hardwood floor, so no worries about weight for me. I just ordered a big box of the Titan-25 levelers from Outwater for them.

Your plan sounds fine for your situation.

You should also replace your levelers if they are wore down they can get sharp edges and F up a floor

I also use plywood with carpet strips underneath. They slide easily. I did it to protect from minor flooding (which has happened a few times). I painted the plywood

Make your life easy. I have these under every single game I own. The size is perfect and fits over the existing standard levelers, works on carpet or wood floors, you cannot see them once installed and they really do work. All I do is open the coin door and pull.

Make sure you get the 2-3/8" ones, part number 04600. These are sold at almost every hardware store I go to, especially all of the big box stores.

Those sliders mark up stained concrete floors, so I bought the 3M felt sliders. They work for me, but for the heavy games I like the carpeted plywood idea.

Yeah, I wouldn't use them on anything other than Finished Tile, Hardwood Flooring, or Carpet. (Basically, the materials it says it slides on the packaging... lol) They are plastic, so concrete would be rough and tear them up quickly anyway. Not sure how they hold up on an epoxied floor.

We use these on carpet, and wood floors here, works awesome.

I'm a big fan of John's plywood and carpet idea. Done right, you can move games pretty much anywhere on my epoxy floor.

He and I share painted epoxy floors, so it makes sense I'd like his idea best....

I went with plywood and carpet. I had an old mat and scrap plywood on hand, I just needed a few staples and a helper. It's a 2x2 piece so the levelers should sit just inside the edges. Floors go in on Friday.

Thanks for the help!
