A guy I met at training.. said he had a game in his garage... I have to contact him about it..

he said he was some kind of mechanical game... and was called "something aces"....

I want to say "Air Aces" but can't find any info on such game...

I want to research it a bit before going to see it so I have an idea of worth , etc...

Any one feel like solving a mystery today?

tks.
Steve

wow.. any of those would be great..

but I'm doubting it.. I m thinking of something newer is more possible..

I better make arrangements and go find out...

appreciate the effort... those were cool...

hmm.. now that seems to be a good fit...

how much is an old 70's pinball game like that worth... ??

I understand things such as condition, playfield, etc all factor in...

I would like a pinball.. but not sure I would know how to keep it running...

It is only worth a couple hundred dollars in good condition. To my knowledge it is not a highly sought after title. That is not to say it is not good, I love the Bally machines from that era.

They are not too complicated to keep running. The key to any EM is they need to be played regularly to "knock the dust off" so to speak. There is a healthy amount of info at this site:

I dunno. Air Aces is one of the few EM pinball's I really enjoy playing, and we had a guy here last year or so looking for one really bad...

It could be very popular only I haven't heard of it, or that could be the token guy who wants one.

I also look at the online "fun" ratings of games to help me identify highly sought after machines. This one has a relatively low rating. Like I said, I love the Bally EMs from the '70's, but with few exceptions (Wizard and Old Chicago come to mind) I seem to be alone on my island...

If it's in good working condition you can normaly get an Air Aces for around $300. EM pinball machines are fairly easy to maintain if you can read schematics. I own around 20 Em Pinball machines and keep them running easily. If it's cheap enough go for it. Would be a cheap way to get started in pinballs. If you have proplems with it there is plenty of people here that could help (myself included)
