A few days ago i was given what looks like a brand new Happ monitor Model # KJ-1915 from the year 2000. The guy i got it from said the original chassis was dead within a couple hours but he never sent it back. After looking at this thing for a while, the chassis sure looks alot like a Wells 7302 chassis and it has alot of the same components. I happen to have two brand new 7300's so i did some metering of the yokes and they were a dead on match so no yoke swapping was needed. I simply threw a chassis on the frame and she's a beauty. The tube on the Happ monitor is an A48QAD220X which should be coupled with a yoke that has a simple sticker on it that reads SW-2001. No yoke swap, no converging and no image size/pincushion issues, this thing is pretty much plug and play after i finished putting it together.

Thanks for the post. I'm sure it will help someone down the road.

Yep, Happ, Wells-Gardner, and Imperial all used that same chassis (at some point)......and, if I'm not mistaken, it's actually a Kortek chassis.

I always found it funny when Crazy Hugo (on Ebay) was blowing these out via his Ebay store......Imperial monitors----$180......Happ monitors-----$190. It's the same monitor! (until Happ switched over to Tovis monitors).

..and this will be in the For Sale section in 3, 2, none.....

Nice investigative work Chris.

Very cool! I need to take a look at the yoke on this Zenith TV I bought at the local thrift store. The tube # is a match for CR23, but not certain if the yoke will work with any chassis as of yet.

At this stage of the monitor crisis, I'm hoarding monitors. I have 7 burn free/new rasters, 4 Amplifones and 3 6100's that I'm hanging onto till I'm sure I'm never gonna use em.
