Anybody know the length, offhand,of the average bolt that holds a Williams head to the body? I think it's 1 1/4" but I'm not at home to check.

It's for that Williams "Wild Card" game....mid seventies EM.

In that case you're right. They're pretty short, though an extra 1/2"-1" isn't going to be a big deal as long as you don't run out of thread.

The later Williams games have a longer head bolt. Like 4" or something.

So where would the head bolt be located? I checked mine and it has "L" brackets on the back of the head unit.
These have to be prank posts. You ask some of the weirdest questions ever. If this is not a joke I apologize and suggest you do some research at the website below, buy a book or hire a tech.

This is not a joke! Thank you for the web-link as I have that and all system11 info bookmarked. This was not a weird question I noticed "L" brackets on the back of my machine and they were mentioning head bolts and thought I'd ask where they are located, Found out there inside the head, thanks Lindsey :). I'am just trying to learn things is all and if my questions seem weird well I'am new to all this owning and repairing pinball stuff. I should take one step at a time instead of overwhelming myself, but I'am an addict to this hobby!
