Museum of the Game® & International Arcade Museum® Forums
Hello Everyone!
This is my first post and I couldn't find anywhere else on the internet with any information about this machine except for an article by the Arcade Museum so I figured I'd give this a shot!
I recently came into possession of a Hawatha Jr Slot Machine - it sat on my grandmas mantle in her house for as long as I can remember and she recently passed and left it to me. It does work (I nervously put a penny in it and pulled the lever), all the numbers spun around although some of the wheels are difficult to read and the spin counter clicked up to 518 from the 517 it was at before. However, I do not have the key to open it.
Do these machines have any value? Is there anyone that services or repairs these machines, or makes keys to open them? Or collectors or museums that would appreciate having them?
Just trying to gather information on it, not necessarily looking to sell it, but I was just trying to find some information on it! Anything would be helpful!
