I'm wiring up my Sega System 16 Wrestle War. I've got video. In the manual, it says that the speakers should be connected to pins 10 and L when using the Jamma conversion harness. When I connect these to the speakers, they don't do anything. I connected the player one button to make sure that I was getting the game started. I know there should be sound coming out once the game has started. I changed out the power supply because someone suggested that maybe my -5V could be bad. I don't know what to do next. This is my first time wiring a whole game. Any help would be appreciated.

I think I see your problem. You have the dreaded suicide battery on the PCB. You see that big black block on the board? That would most likely be the cause of your no audio.

I'm gonna feel stupid of this is the problem, but like I said.....this is my first wiring job. I haven't yet hooked up the panel that does service, test, and volume control. Could that be my problem?

I don't see one.

Hard to see with the small pic, but it looks like it. I could be wrong. They usually say Hitachi on there or something.

I do have a Wrestle War PCB with failed audio with no suicide battery though. Seems common. It works for a bit then quit. When you fire your game on, do you get a pop noise?

I don't get a popping noise when I turn it on.
