Having to sacrifice my Krooz'r (and maybe a few more machines)...

You know how they say bad things come in threes? Well the last month has been especially bad for us, starting with our car going kaput (as mentioned in a previous thread), then my sister passing last week, and topping off with my wife losing her wallet with $100 in it today. Ce la vie...

Point is, we've hit the point where I need to sell my VG condition Kozmik Krooz'r to get us back on track. The game itself is sturdy and in excellent shape. Here's the specs:

* Original CP is in great shape with minimal cracking/fading
* Joystick insert is nice and unfaded
* Sideart has minimal chips/dings/scratches and is unfaded
* Marquee had a few minor flaking spots but has been retouched and triple-thicked
* Bezel looks immaculate, interior lighting and spaceship look great
* Exterior paint has been retouched and monitor has been recapped
* Footstep has been reinforced
* Original board stack has been completely redone by cdjump, who did an amazing job with it.

The game also includes a few extras, such as another populated CP as a spare, NOS framed/matted flyers, mint condition Hallmark sticker pack (also framed), extra ROMs in case any should ever go bad; schematics, and NOS manual that looks brand new. Also included is both the original Midway PS board, and a switching PS with arcadeshop MCRII adapter board. I chose to use the original hardware versus the switching/adapter combo due to noise issues. The only thing missing is the lower rear access door.

Since this is such a hard-to-find game and difficult to judge prices on, I'm asking $3000 with all the extras, KLOV price. If I don't get any interest in the next week, I may FeeBay it for a bit more. Local pickup in Florida only, or arrange your own freight shipping.

Nice looking game. I don't rememeber this one as a kid though. From what I read it looks like maybe they did not produce many of these.

In pic 3 with the mirror showing the sideart.... that is awesome.

I would swap marquees with you (and pay a decent buck) if you are interested.

Thanks Dylan, sorry it took so long to respond. I knew you'd go gaga over this one like I did. Since posting this, everything's panned out so I'm not in a rush to sell it. Not that I wouldn't sell it, it's still available. I would like to get a few new pins, so if anyone's interested, price is still $3000.
