Having to let go

have you thought about getting rid of the SI, if you have the galaga? they're both similar in gameplay...

or doing some sort of a double donkey kong thing? can those be swapped out if they're both two board sets?

Well I love my wife and 3 kids so them going isn't an option. Plus it would end up with me out on my ass with 12 arcade games and no where to plug them in. I also have a 61 bug-eyed sprite in the garage that is also taking up space. The real problem is I have too many toys. The extra cocktail is already sold and I purchase it with intentions of selling it. Though I'm half guilty of hoarding because I considered keeping it. Lol I'm thinking about gutting my woodworking/monitor repair shop and making that my arcade. The woodworking machinery is more replaceable than my games. I will definitely be selling a few (to buy a pinball). Wife is unaware of those intentions :)

Actually after reading my post I must also admit I pretty much have the whole garage filled with my stuff. Projects, motorcycle, arcade parts. Lol

Was able to make enough room in my workshop for these five and have room for one more. Dk jr is taking up real-estate in my sons room. Put a cocktail in the living room. Now only 3 uprights and a cocktail (cocktail should be gone very soon) currently in the garage. My wife is happy with me getting the bulk out of the house. Woo hoo! Damn I'm tired! Centipede has got to be the heaviest cab I have. Glad I moved it first.

If you have land add to the garage.
If your that desperated for space and you want to keep the games.
Some games you can take apart and box it up.

Another thing you can do is double up on the Nintendos.

Use a Dokert/Flagg harness and you can put DK and DK Jr. boards in your DK (otherwise you're talking 10-15 minutes to swap instead of 3 or 4).

You might also be able to do both Popeye and Mario Bros in the Popeye cab although aside from the Dockert/Flagg harness (I think) you'd need dual power supplies, and you'd have to swap out CPs too. You'd have to get the smaller Mario Bros CP.

I loved my wife's comment when we still had a garage: "As long as I can still park on my side". Awesome. Don't have one anymore (garage, still have the wife), so I basically have the whole basement. She doesn't really care where games are, as long as they're not in the "main" part of the house.
