I did. It started off by answering a CL ad. When I talked to the guy he said he had a few other games besides the ones I was interested in. He was right. Click on the thumbnails for a representative sampling.

He is trying to get it straightened out and will be selling most of these.

What I brought home:

The last thumbnail is the bottom of the Joust. It still has the original plastic strips on it !!?!!

Chris: Yes. He has taken amazingly good care of these. A number of them were converted to other games along the way, but a lot are still 100% original.

You went to Danny's place. Yeah I've been there, he's a good guy to deal with.
Still waiting for him to go thru his stuff as he's got a couple games I'm interested in but he wouldn't give me a price on them yet.

What an excellent warehouse! Do you plan on pulling any other games out of there?

I think you also win the award for most Joust machines simultaneously owned, YellowDog. Is the one you picked up #5? :D

Wow, a Stargate that wasn't converted.

An original, unconverted Robotron and a Pleiades! That was a find.

There was also an original Moon Patrol, 2 other Stargates and a Dragon's Lair. He said that he has the Laser Disk Player at home and it worked the last time he put it in (about 2 years ago).

I stopped counting at 22 Ms Pacman games. There might be more.

In addition, there are a bunch of games a friend is storing and he is pretty sure that the friend will sell also since everything has to go. He wants to rent the space out.

The most amazing thing that I saw was this huge pile conversion kits. I didn't have the camera with me, so I had to snap a cell phone pic. If I can get it out of my phone I'll post it. It was at least 25 unopened boxes of WWF Wrestling conversion kits. He said they belonged to his friend.

It was amazing. I've responded to CL ads where they said "and I have a few other games too". And they did, have a few other games. This guy had at least 80 if not 100 games. He ran a game room and had routes and this was a 20+ years of I'll get around to looking at it one of these days stash.

I bought a megamillions lottery ticket today and if I win, all of those will be mine, muahahahahahahah! :D

Yeah I'm trying to get a price on that Dragons Lair, Mario Bros, and a Crystal Castle that he has but he's says he still needs to go thru it and test it all.

Yep, it was Danny's. He has about a 20x20 space clear in one corner and he is going to be pulling games out and putting them against the walls and in rows so they can be looked at. As I said previously, everything must go, so he will be posting more for sale. If you want to contact him, just call the phone number in his CL ad (link). Please don't post his phone number in this thread. He is a nice guy and doesn't need a bunch of scammers calling him.

If I had any money and room. As it stands now, the money is almost gone and the room is definitely gone. I need to make a storage unit run to clear some space. :(

It depends on whether you count projects. I only have 2 working Jousts, 3 once I get this one running. (I only have 4 or 5 project ones...)

Well if the mm site was up I could check my darn numbers. Then I could fly down this weekend and turn my sons house in Granbury into an arcade. Of course I would be doing this just for the grand children.

Rock on Ken...

Very beautiful Joust and Stargate! I wouldn't mind getting my hands on the Jr. Pac in the Super Pac cabinet. Too bad I am not close.

I'd be all over the Pleiades and Gaplus if I lived nearby. They're pretty uncommon.

Nice scores!

That must have been amazing!

I have never raided anything other than a cookie jar.....

Must have felt like a kid in a candy store.:)

I would love to find a place like that around here.

Sorry, the Mega Millions winning ticket was sold at a variety store about 2 miles from my house! No, it's not me.
