Have you overflowed your game room?

I haven't even finished preparing my game room (needs baseboards and paint), and I've almost already got enough games to fill it. I measured the room yesterday, and realized at best I only have room for 2-3 more cabinets. So I'm thinking I will eventually have some setup in the adjoining basement living room where they currently are. I know I can't be the only one who buys more than their dedicated room can hold.

Yup, I had to expand my gameroom. I got all my keepers in the basement, but I only have room for one more. If I move my parts shelves, I'll be able to add 2 or three more. But I'm only looking to add one game at the moment.

I live in a one bed room condo and I turned the study into the arcade. Its pretty intimate to say the least. I own 3 dedicated cabs and one mame with room for one or two more games before I end up turning the living room into the arcade

yep, right into the garage. but i'm in the gameroom with a tape measure a couple times a month to see if i can somehow magically squeeze extra room out of it.

Anyone that has overflowed their game room is more than welcome to store clean, working machines in my climate controlled, dehumidified, finished basement umtil their additions are done.

I've definitely overflowed, and my garage is now unusable with six sit down drivers and a full size deluxe jurrassic park, the lost world. My next project is to expand the arcade into the downstairs bedrooms that are across from the arcade area. My workshop area in the basement is also jampacked....its fun, but scary at the same time haha

Would this be considered "overflowed" enough?

oh yea ran out O space and rearranged several times now. Actually spent most of the day yesterday rearranging. Still not done!

I am almost ready to sell a workbench so I can move the table saw next to the wall. That should let me fit 4 more in the garage. I don't think I will be able to work on them very easily though. I think I will be spending a lot of time in the driveway when the weather gets better.

Damn, dude, that is a nice collection of true vintage classics in that photo.

Off topic: Every time I see a Junior Pac Man it is a converted Ms. Pac Man. Did they ever make a dedicated Junior Pac?

Dedicated Jr. Pac's use Mappy Cabinets (or Mappy uses Jr. Pac cabs... either way)....

I agree if you haven't dealt with over flow your not doing something right. When it gets full the next game coming is like a life size game of Tetris. I thought I built mine big enough. I would never run out of room lets just say the garage Is getting full too at this point. Seems like the deals fall out of the sky when I'm out of room go figure.

Yup. Game room is full (9 games now - removed a door and shoved my Championship Sprint in there...) and I have 1 game - my Space Invaders that Phet really doesn't want me to get rid of, in the living room.

These are just my working games. I also have my 'new' Asteroids cocktail in the living room, my 85% built-from-scratch mame/Pac-Man cocktail project in the living room, 2 Tempest cabinets and Joust cabinet in my shed and back porch...

Ever heard of that show "Hoarders"? Can't you see the "intervention" with a collector?

"Sir, you have to get rid of these. You can keep two. Choose."

"Auuuggh! Noooo!"
