Have you laughed today? Another one of those CL threads...

I asked about the LCD. Seems strange he would use a new LCD and not keep the original LCD in there.... gotta keep it real.

Yeah, it's not like you can buy an LCD monitor in a store or anything. Definitely adds serious value to the game.

If I tell him that by putting in an LCD monitor he's violated Midway's TOS, is therefore subject to fining, and Midway has been notified, I wonder if he'd believe me.

I offered him 200, after the reply, told him the marquee was where the money was.
ORLY?

I just sent him this message.

If you think that is worth $2100 then I will sell you as many as you like for $1200 each, you could make a fortune

Jeez, where!? WHERE?? Is there some sort of place that I can cash in non working games for that much!?

Think of the profit margins we could be getting!

Here's another one that pops up & never sells... ALL original, except for, you know, all the things that aren't. He feels it's an insane deal at $500. In the past, I've emailed this guy to tell him Tetris didn't come out in 1981 & to please show me an old converted Nintendo cab that's worth $4000...

He emailed me back and told me to brush up on my arcade history because "this Tetris came out in 1981."

No word on the $4000 example.

Lol, here is what I wrote to him:

If you present me with a reasonable price for your PAC man, I will purchase it this Saturday. Please remember eBay prices are retail, restores, shopped an sometimes warranty games. Also the prices are higher due to PayPal and eBay fees. I will not comment on the LCD placed in it. I have a tube to replace it (so you can keep the LCD). This will not affect the price: Here is a website most collectors follow. Shoot me a price.

Same guy just posted an Out Run for a cool $1000.
