Have you guys ever had something or someone scare you at a bad time while you were working on a game?

Earlier this morning I had replaced a broken set of convergence rings on one of my K4600s and was trying to fine tune the convergence on it, so you know, my hands are near a powered yoke and anode cap. Well, as I am working on it, this old empty 5 gal tin oil can I have sitting just outside of my sliding glass door made a loud BANG from it heating up in the morning sun whilst I was doing so. My heart nearly stopped and I almost fell off of the stool I was setting on. I actually had to sit down and catch my breath for a minute, I thought it was over for a second there lol. I just finished working on it and thought I'd share so maybe you guys could have a laugh at my expense lol, but it got me wondering if anyone else here had something similar happen to them before?

I always leave my cell phone in another room or put it in airplane mode while working on monitors.

I don't need any added anxiety of a cell phone randomly making noise while I'm tediously not trying to electrocute myself.

i put a jamma board in the wrong way, no key on the connector, and when i hit the switch it blew the caps on the board and scared the shit out of me

I have so far been lucky in avoiding exploding caps, I did have a tantalum capacitor blow on a Mouse Trap power supply once but I was out of the room when it happened lol, but I've come close once or twice to putting a connector on backwards and luckily caught myself at the last second.
