Have YOU ever seen a pinball conversion before?

I had one about 15 years ago. I think I sold it at the SJ or LA auction.. I think that one was in a evel kenievel cab.

It was interesting in that it had joust and maybe some other williams arcade game sounds..

I have.

It's a Bally Harlem Globetrotters pin that's been converted with the only instance that I'VE ever heard of of a conversion kit for a pinball machine from the 80's - 301 / Bullseye, made by Grand Products, Inc.

Unfortunately, the table is missing the sound board, and it was proprietary to the kit :(

I've contacted Grand Products, Inc (they're still in business today as a 3rd party manufacturer for coin-op products) to see if I can get a tech to assist me in getting a replacement board.

I've yet to fire the machine, I just got it off the trailer yesterday. Owner told me it works, just no sound. We'll see.

I think CPR says they are still waiting on enough pre-orders to do the playfields. You're right though, it was supposed to be released in 2010.

Possibly NSFW: There are some comic boobies in the art:

Any word on how many more they need to proceed? Looks pretty sweet and i know where two Dolly Partons live...

i've honestly never seen a pin conversion before. i always figured there was too much involved with boards and playfields to even bother.

Shrek<Family Guy
or just about anything Stern makes nowdays :D

That 3 stoog is interresting but could certainly benift from some better art on that playfield.

This one is also pretty damm cool-IMO

I haven't seen it, but Kevin from Lyons Pinball said he knows a guy who is absolutely obsessed with the movie Groundhogs Day (he has a theater room with it playing on an endless loop...) and the guy converted something to Groundhogs Day.

I have a Harlem Globetrotters that has an Italian conversion kit. Metal, screen printed sides that nail onto the cabinet and a new PF and backglass. Also an extra PCB that plugs onto the MPU and a new sound board.

The new game is called Movie Masters.

It's very rough and I will probably part it out worst luck.

I saw this conversion of Playboy to Sexy Girl:

I've only seen the flyer for Sexy Girl. That's the one that's a straight rip-off of playboy with a nude slide show in the middle of the playfield, right? It was mentioned in Bill Kurtz's "Arcade Treasures," iirc.
