Have you ever caught your pets doing doing something bad to your arcade games?

Last week my Collie/German Shepherd mix of 11 years was sitting next to me on the couch in the basement while I was finishing up a game of Nazi zombies. Out of the blue he jumps down, stretches, and walks right over to my Final Fight and takes a piss on it. He has never done this before and it made me think if anyone had an animal that took a disliking to one of your games?

My cats like to pee on my battlezone step. Have new step material to install eventually

Every once in awhile, ONLY when im in the arcade alone, one of two cats will come in all nice, get some pets.. then backup to a wall or game and piss away. LAst time i chased the bastard up the stair up to the upstairs bedroom, scruffed him brought him back doen there and rubbed his face in it..

DO i feel bad? Yeah man.

DO i now have a piss free arcade? YEP. only one of the good cats has enough balls to come in the arcade now and she behaves herself.

Never. Getting. Animals. Evar.

Not like these posts affect that decision though, if I got a pet it would just starve during one of my outings anyways.

Yeah, I ran after my dog and dragged his 70 lb. ass downstairs and put his nose in it and smacked his rear. I was about to go Chris Brown on his hide.

No, except one time my cat started climbing atop my brand new refurbishes Atari 2600 with a sealed copy of Ms. Pac-Man on top of it... I saved them just in time.

My dog likes to sneak upstairs to the game room and go #1 and #2. Once he was out front with me while I was sanding down a ms pac. I stepped away for a break, he stepped up, looked at me with wondering eyes and began to let loose.

It made me laugh...

But I did put a toddler fence on my stairs to keep the arcade "fresh"

I had a cat piss on my Neo Geo home system...

I paused it, went to change laundry. Came back, the screen was all scrambled and making a weird noise. Cat was hiding.

Ruined it.

Cat loves to climb to the top of anything in my house, normally not making any trouble, one day he got on top of my Asteroids machine, my PSP was sitting up there as well, anyone with a cat knows that they like to play with things, I call it "playing hockey" when they paw bat at stuff....suffice it to say he played hockey with my PSP and it's screen shattered from the drop.
I try not to have anything on top of my games anymore...

My furball used to climb on to my SF machine and watching me at the dining room table do homework or sleep. To her it was the best seat in the house. One time she lost her footing while trying to jump from top of the machine to the couch and tumbled onto the CP and rolled off it while trying to grab for the joystick. (didn't work) A week later she jumped on my stool, then the CP and tried walking along the CP and tripped over the joystick and tumbled. Now she just sits on the stool. This is good because she was starting to get into the habit of batting at the action on the screen with full spread claws. Didn't want to have to replace the plexi glass overlays and/or art work because of scratches. Luckily for me this was the worst she has ever done to anything of mine.

I used to have a cat from hell (nicknamed "Crack-head") who would like to piss on my arcade games. It got so bad I had to cover everything in plastic and was contemplating building a sensor and alarm system for when she came over to the arcade games (they were in a dining room so no blocking it off). Finally realized that, if I was having to figure out ingenious ways to keep the cat from ruining things further, it might be more efficient to get rid of the cat.

6 months later, I go to find my Rampage:World Tour board, and found the little monster had fouled it as well - it's impossible to clean ammonia crystals from around an FGPA :(

The worst thing my cat does to my games is sleep on them. He will however pee in my dirty clothes hamper if I forget to clean his litter box for a couple days. Since I know he will do this, if I don't clean the litter box it is pretty much my fault anyway.

One cat and a dog.

Cat is perfect except he like the tops of the machines as his own private jungle gym. No problems except for dusty paw prints.

Dog, well he will poop in the arcade if we are gone too long. Not in the rest of the house mind you, just the arcade. He will also hide when we get home, not to mention the immediate smell of poo hitting you in the face.

I bought my Tetris and SF2 from a family who let their cats lay on top and inside of the cabs. The only thing my Shiba Inus have done is try to chase the ball when I pick them up to watch someone play Tron. One of them actually tries to snap at it when it's close, and slams her nose into the glass (obviously I don't let her do that after the first time).

Cats pissing on cades is gross. I'm not a cat person. My dog only goes on grass when there is an option. The only dog that ever crapped in my Garcade was a visiting one. BANHAMMER issued....

If your dog is 11 years old and is suddenly peeing on things in your house there's a damn good chance he's got a medical issue that needs to be addressed. He could be going into renal failure or have a number of other issues.
