So, I'm out of space in the mancave, but I need to add my Joust once it's done. I can't comfortably fit another game, and I don't want to put one in the garage or storage so ones got to go! WoW is non-negotiable. Ms. pac and Robotron I'm pretty attached to. That leaves Centipede and Galaga, both of which I love but not as much as the others. I put them up for fairly premium prices and won't budge much, so we'll see how that goes. I can't decide between them, so whichever one sells first is the one to go.

On the bright side: I can use the money for other toys, more guns, dirtbike stuff, home theater stuff...lol

I also say sell Galaga. Easy to play on the computer or elsewhere, plus I would rather carry one of those out of my basement than a Centipede.

I saw the listing and the op is accurate when he says premium pricing. As a buyer they are more than I would spend but as a fellow klovr I say good luck to you. I was looking at a millipede. that was priced at 50% of what the op is asking for his centipede.

I have a buddy that lives near the op that would love the robotron but his bull busting wife would never agree.

The Robotron isNOT for sale. I have a pending sale already on the Centipede...of course that means nothing until I see the money. The fact that I'm not motivated to sell makes it unlikely that I will cut any smokin' deals!

Sorry I should have been clearer, I know the robo is not for sale but my buddy would still love one and he leaves close to you. If you are not motivated then its easy to get top dollar. It's when one is desperate that its hard to sell a game. Murphy's law I guess

No kidding! I may restore another Robotron or Joust if I thought it would sell...

when you factor in custom chips possibly failing, I would sell the galaga. they are worth about the same in good shape(maybe +$100 for galaga).

honestly my vote will always be for a game room expansion/addition on the house.

Or just buy a mobile home and fill it up. Portable arcade!!!!!!!!

this is a no brianer.

Sell MS. PACMAN ($600). Then put an ARCADESD ($310) into the GALAGA. Pocket around $300.

Voila. Ms. Pacman is back along with Galaga and dozens of new games. Plus you don't have to hack up Galaga to do this beyond putting in a 4 way joystick. That is unless you really want the 2nd button and only 1 game uses the 3rd button...

Game prices are a little higher around here. I sold the Centipede for $800 within a couple days. I have a standing offer on the Galaga for $1200, which is what I was asking. I almost got greedy and sold it too, but now with the new boards and rapid-fire rom, it's too much fun. nostalgia > greed, in this case anyways!
