Every year, a guy I work with puts on a Haunted Maze. I brought my Pac and had it on free play. The response was outstanding. It was on for 5 hours and 15 minutes and was busy for all but about 10 minutes of that time. Most of the players were teenagers, sometimes huddled in groups of 5 or 6 around the game. What a great feeling to see people practically tripping over each other to play it.

More pics to come later.

Here are some more pics. A good time was had by everyone that came by. 2 cans of food were collected per person for the local food bank so it was for a good cause. 400lbs of food were collected the previous night and the maze is running again tonight.

Thats cool. Love the "Surfer Joe" tombstone. How long on a cord did you have to use, or did you have a battery supply like George Castanza in the "Frogger" episode. ;)

You mean like my avatar? I LOVE that episode.

Cool idea though I'm glad you were able to benefit a good cause because of it.

I only had to go about 20' or so to the garage for power. Fortunately, nobody tripped over the cord, but I worried about it the entire time anyway. The maze featured several sections that required their own power (pirate, jack in the box, zombies, ect). We had a couple of small trenches dug with the cords buried in them so that nobody would trip. I didn't get as involved with the project as last year but I did what I could. Many of the maze walls were taken from actual buildings. Several of them were constucted and a lot of thought went into them. One section has a base with rollers in a track so that it can be pushed from behind as people walk past it. For the most part, fence posts were put up with small wood sections (1" x 2" x ?") on which were hung sheets for walls. It was a pretty complex setup for some guy's backyard. All in all, everyone had a great time.
