Hate to say it, but I am getting out...

We are going to miss hanging out with you guys, but I'm glad to see you following your dreams. I'm also going to miss your arcade parties, our collapsing barn raids, etc. However, we are looking forward to visiting, and I'm going to go ahead and invite myself down now for next years CAX!

.., and I'm going to go ahead and invite myself down now for next years CAX!

(winks at Dave) Told you it would work!

I can't wait until CAX 2012, the last CAX ever!*

*World ends in 2012, in case you weren't aware.

what makes you think Hatrick and I would hang out with the likes of you ;)

We will be with the "normal" people thank you very much.

Dave and I go way back... When I first moved to CA he helped me get full on hooked with this hobby. He helped me build my collection and introduced me to a ton of cool collectors in the area. Dave always has an arcade adventure up his sleeve, be it a warehouse raid or a hunt for a grail worthy of a detective novel. He was a fixture in the arcade scene in the Bay area when I was out there, and I was shocked to hear that he left.

It makes sense to me that he is heading back--the Bay area is in his blood. Best of luck Dave, with both your marriage and your new arcade venture!

Best of luck with the move, I would like to say that New York is the best place to live, but it isn't. Taxed to death, and almost as many wackos and cali, and cold winters.

Now sure what business that your brining into california but it always good to check out If california will give you a tax break. I think the post office has moving coupons.

Welcome back to california

88mph and myself and Mike Snider went on some pretty epic warehouse raids, that is for sure.
Those days were a lot of fun. I have a couple more adventures and scores up my sleeve right now. I just have to wait a little more to go after them ;)
Idaho has been really good to me as a collector. I have found an amazing amount of games here ( and I'm still not done). Hopefully I can head back to the bay and pick up where I left off.

Congratulations! Even after all the disrespecting comments about this fine state I knew you would come crawling back, they always do. ;)

The stupid sacrifices we make for these games... it kills me. I have a serious love/hate relationship with CA I guess you could say. It will be an adjustment for sure. I still don't think its worth what it cost to live there but oh well. At least the RE market has taken a decent hit and the prices are a little better than when i left. Sell high/buy low for the win.

Personally... I'd sell every last game... hell, I'd PART OUT every last game I have before I'd even consider moving back to the cesspool.

That said... to each his/her own... good luck.
