This is one of those games I remember absolutely loving in high school. Since then, I can't remember ever seeing a working one again. I also don't recall seeing it for sale anywhere near me on CL.

So my question is....is this game as good as I remember it? Or am I going to be disappointed when I finally end up seeing one again?

I really enjoyed back in the 80's and two weeks ago picked one up. I think it's great I have been playing it a ton. I have the rock 'ola version v

Dang, I should have asked to come see it when I was in town on Sunday! I didn't know you had one. How come I never see these for sale? I forget....can the two players shoot each other? I'm thinking they can but I don't remember for sure now.

I picked one up just because it is a vector, and thats mainly what I collect.. back in the day a friend and myself had basically mastered it in 2 player mode leaving a half-dead tank (just turret alive) and chopper hunting. I was looking forward to getting the one I have due to the fact I had played it soo much back in the day. But I dunno... it must have a different rom version that does not leave the tank turret alive indefinitely or for long periods of time so you can go chopper hunting, which I thought was a good thing..to add some challenge, but I still just find it far too easy and repetitive. Having said that though, due to my main collecting objectives, doubt I could get rid of it.

Armor Attack was the first game I ever bought when I started collecting. $35 bucks, working at an auction back around 1993.

Great game! For those that know Morse Code (or read about easter eggs on the net), the opening series of tones is pretty funny.

Yeah, I loved this game back then. Glad to know it still rocks. But why are there none around, ever. Im thinking if a game isn't popular and it is'nt working, people are very likely to just trash it.

I love Armor Attack. One day after playing a game on ArcRevival's Armor Attack, I said "Man, I'd love to find an Armor Attack." The very NEXT day, one popped up on Craigslist and I bought it. It's a GREAT game, loads of fun with 2 players.

Ricky Chang at Funhouse in Hayward had a working one on CL for $400 forever. I could not believe it lasted that long. I don't know if anyone ever bought it or he just got tired of posting it. It is a great game. I would never sell mine.

Armor Attack wasn't huge like the first stringers of the golden era -- it appears it never really made it out of the major arcade centers in the country back then -- but people who played it always talk very highly of it. I got to play it myself for the first time a few weeks ago at the 2010 NW Pinball and GameRoom Show. It's fun as a single player and really rocks as a two player.

Economy must really be slowing again then...

These two nice looking Armor Attack project cabs, with reportedly working monitors, were being sold as a pair with a $1 minimum bid and no reserve, and it ended with zero bids. This was in Ohio too, a hotbed of the hobby.
