As the title states, I came across this company during a search and they have a dedicated page just for Arcade shipping. I tried looking for reviews but given that "freight" and "center" are both really common terms, I couldn't get any solid hits.

I went ahead and did the online quote estimate and it was very reasonable. The quote was about $400 from NY to CA so that seemed a little too good to be true. Also as we all know, a destroyed arcade game isn't worth saving a few hundred dollars.

I have to add that the quote was for a 4 player game with a 25" monitor. The dimensions are roughly 44" x 24" x 74" and weighs 350 pounds. I'm hoping they really do know how to handle and transport arcade games but I'm a bit hesitant given the low price.

So i can actually give some insight into FC.

Im currently in the middle of transporting a SF: RUSH arcade cab with them from a seller in Texas. (Im in oklahoma) and after all the fees and politics it was $483 shipped. Which is pretty reasonable in LTL terms.

Now for the not so good:
FreightCenter is mearly a broker that charges me the $483, then bids the job to 3rd party transport companies. The smallest window of pickup time allowed is 4 hours, and the truckers dont communicate at all. Like AT ALL. The poor guy im buying the cab from hauled the paletized and crated rush cab to the roadway and waited for 6 hours for the trucker to come get it. Only to find out the trucker couldnt make it in time and by default rolled over into the next business day. So he waited and waited wasting an entire day for nothing. And now because im not a POS im out an additional $100 that im paying this poor guy for his trouble. Im now waiting for monday, to see if the trucker actually comes, if he doesnt or he messes something else up i might lose this purchase and the seller. Which is infuriating.

TLDR:
>Freight center is a decent broker
>shipping prices seem reasonable
>yes they are legit
>your quote is 100% not going to be accurate.
>most of their 3rd party trucking companies are lazy, with zero time management and negative customer service qualities.
