Has anyone used any artwork sold by mk-arcade-restore on eBay?

I've seen the seller mk-arcade-restore all over eBay selling various arcade artwork in complete sets. They are from Belgium and have pretty decent prices and what looks to be accurate artwork for games such as any Mortal Kombat and a few classics. I've tried looking at their feedback comments to see what people think of it and I've seen some mixed messages regarding quality and sizing. Some people say it's top notch while a couple others have said the artwork isn't the right size or that the ink scratches off easily.

If anyone has purchased any of these items and has anything to share, please do! Also, if you can provide closeup pics of the prints, that would be awesome. I'm thinking about restoring the artwork on one my MK cabinets, but I'd hate to drop a couple hundred on something that's not going to last.

Yes, I ordered NBA Jam and Mortal Kombat CPO's from them and both didn't fit and even though the print is alright, the vinyl they use'd was really dull. I contacted him about the issues and they wouldn't do anything for me. I didn't go through eBay so I couldn't make a case either, I should have just did a credit card charge back but because I paid through PayPal I didn't know how that would have ended.

Edit:
I ordered the NBA Jam sideart also from him and it's not even a scan. It's a pic of a blown up basketball and the NBA logo on top and the Midway text added in. If you look real close at his picture of it, you can tell, but at first glance it looks like a scan.

That's crazy! Thanks for the information. Maybe I'll try contacting them to see if they have any actual pictures of a finished print for the specific game I need.

Why would you even bother after what boostin4hp said about their work??

Honestly, just out of curiosity. I'm pretty certain I won't be buying their stuff. Also, just because the artwork of one game is bad or in the case of NBA Jam, completely faked, doesn't mean they are all bad. If anything, I could at least provide some feedback for them to hopefully make a better product and that could help out anyone who doesn't see a thread like this.

There's a bunch of dirtbags on ebay that pull art off the web and click "print" _ don't care about quality at all.

That is a true statement. I'm still shopping around, but every time I spot someone new doing these prints, I have a glimmer of hope that they are somehow doing it better. This doesn't seem to be the case here...so I'll keep on looking.

There is no need to shop around. phoenixarcade, thisoldgame, arcadeoverlays, gameongraphix. Done.

Really, what's to be curious about? Now you know. Any money or attention sent their way takes away from the quality/respected folks noted above. There were cheap inkjet garbage repro art sellers back in the rgvac days, like Arcadegrafix. They also sold fuzzy inkjet playfield "overlays". Learn from wisdom and experience here.

I am learning from the wisdom here...that's why I posed the question. And I am fully aware of all the other printers mentioned here. I just wanted to know if anyone had any firsthand experience with the guy on eBay. I got my answer and now I'll decide what I need to do.

For the record, I did contact the eBay seller to ask for detailed pics and they said they are in the process of sending some over. So now another purpose for me being curious has presented itself. If they send the pics, I can post them here and help others make informed decisions...this time with actual evidence.

Hey that's cool. Post em so others know. Usually if an art print guy has a shitty method of printing, all his work will be that way. FYI, I had a few custom pieces done by ToG and the damn near looked screen printed.

Here are pictures of what I talked about in the second post of this thread. Also there was another problem with the MIDWAY on the sideart being jagged for some reason.

Very nice...thanks so much for the pics! That settles this debate for me. If they end up sending the pics of the printed MK1 cabinet I requested, I'll post them here as well. Hopefully others wishing to buy from him will see this and think twice.

They sent me the pictures they promised. These plus the ones sent before can now be used to make up your mind about this seller's products.
