Has anyone received their entire D2K kit from thisoldgame.com?

I am curious to see if there is anyone other than myself who HASN'T received the entire D2K kit that they have prepaid for. I have been told on several occassions that I would be receiving the kit and as of today only received sideart. I have ordered items in the past from thisoldgame.com and have been extremly satisifed with all of their products I have purchased. This happens to be the worst experience I have had with being strung along by ANY vendor....

Maybe I am crazy but to avoid a customer's frustration in the future, vendors should request partial payment of a kit if they plan on shipping the contents out piece by piece. If they want full payment, ship out the entire kit.

I also have everything but the serial plate. I should add that it probably helped that I got to talk to Rich about the D2K art in person at CAX. All in all it took around a year and 4 months to get what I have. My advice is to contact Rich about the art to remind him you are still waiting. Let him know which pieces you do not have and any info that ID's you so he would know who he's shipping the stuff to. Form what I gathered at CAX the side art should all be printed, he was just rolling and boxing it to be shipped. The bezels were a bit slow and go because each one needed to be cut to size individually.

Rich told me that I would be getting my kit after he returned from CAX. I am just extremely frustrated that many klovers received most or all of the kit and I just received the side art today! I just don't get it. I prepaid just like most of you. Pre paid orders should all be shipped out at once and when the entire "Kit" is ready to be shipped. I am extremely frutsrated and just wanted to see if anyone is in the same boat.

He told me he has been very busy shipping out all the dk2 stuff the last couple weeks. I can't imagine you'll be waiting much longer.

I got my bezel last week. Haven't gotten the plate nor the side art yet.

I'm not worried; he does excellent work, and it'll get here when it gets here.

If you want to hear about a long time waiting, hear about the repro Star Wars yoke. I think it's going on at least three years now?

I understand what you all are saying...However, Someone should not take $200+ dollars and give you dribs and drabs of a kit. Either ship out the entire kit when all the pieces are complete or take a deposit on each piece of the kit as it is being developed. That is where my frustration lies.

Pure principal....

Yes, just contact Rich and let him know what you are missing to make sure it wasn't overlooked. Rich will do you good so don't worry.

Here is my blog w/ many detailed photos.

What are you talking about the SW yoke was done weeks after recieving the films and its been on the frt page of the site all year!
Next week Ill be posting pics and annoucing the next completed SW piece.

For D2K the rest of the pieces should ALL be out by the end of this coming week
with almost 100 kits sold and more than 400 indivaulal pieces screened it certaintly took longer than I had orginally anticapted.
cant please everyone at once, so hang in there its coming
dont make me pull this card :D

He was talking about RAM's Star Wars Yoke that has been "almost complete" for a long... long... long time. NOT the artwork.

Rich, Good news! Thanks for getting this project done!

So the final count is about a 100 that will be out? Is there a total number of units (kits) that you are stopping at?

Basically, how many have been made and put in collectors hands?

Quality pieces all the way!

Has anyone in this thread received their pieces?
I've yet to receive anything other than side art, the one piece I will unfortunately not be using.

I know it will arrive eventually but it's worse when you're told it'll ship by Monday over and over. Just tell me it won't be here until 2010.
I only ordered when I did because I was under the assumption it would ship within a couple weeks.

Don't get me started again. To date, I only have 2 pieces. Not good at all.
