Has anyone played any vector games on an Arpicade?

You totally missed the "main" point.
Vector games on a VECTOR XY monitor makes sense and looks/plays awesome.
Vector games on a RASTER monitor looks like crap. (in comparison)

Yes, and a Dodge Aries K looks like crap compared to a Mercedes E-Class. But if you have to get to work and a good running Dodge is what you have to drive...

hate to say it, but playing these games using something like this might be the only way some of us ever add vector games to our collections

I own no vector games, and I'm not willing to pay $600 for a monitor (let alone an entire game) lol

Mame has had support for HLSL and GLSL Effects for some time. It's said to help drastically improve the look of vector games on raster monitors, especially LCDs. Search around for 'mame glsl vector games' and lots of guys have put up their glsl effect settings.

If i were you guys, I'd look into this. Just no idea how well they will work on an Rpi tho. They are a grossly under-powered device IMO.

The blow up doll comment was stupid. The HLSL difference is stunning, but does nothing to solve the vector/raster timing issues. Oh well. Guess I'll go over to Baton Rouge and wait for someone to leave a Space Duel at the curb. <sigh>
