Has anyone here dealt with CoinOpChips.com?

I ordered the RAM, sockets, and some other things from Bob Roberts Saturday night (the 5th). The order shipped on Tuesday the 8th (the mail didn't run on Monday the 7th due to Labor Day). I received the order today, the 10th.

It has now been 16 days since I placed my order with CoinOpChips.com, and it has been 7 days since I emailed him about it through the contact form on his site. Still nothing on either front.

If you want something quick, fast and in a hurry then Bob is the way to go. I will gladly pay a little higher prices to know that I will get the parts in 2-3 days.

I know, but most places manage to get stuff to you within a week or so. I'd like to know what's going on with Jbuck. I wonder if Gregatron has gotten his order yet, which was placed two days after I placed mine.

BTW, it has been 10 days now. Whether or not that's a long time to wait depends on your ....

Lesson learned... if you need something fast, pay the extra and go through Bob.

I know several people on here live near him and know him pretty well. Can someone check on him to see if everything is ok? Also billybob kind of disappeared. I sent him a pm a month ago and have not heard from him. These guys have not logged on in a long time..

My order arrived today. He sent an email 4 days ago saying he'd been out of state and the order was shipped. I think that he should put a notice on his site when there is going to be a delay like that, but either way, he did come through.

I would suggest that anyone ordering from him that needs the parts fairly quickly, should contact him first to make sure he's around.

On the other hand, his 4116 chips are probably the most inexpensive around, and they appear to be new rather than pulls (Bob Roberts' 4116 chips are definitely pulls, and are over twice the price).

Hey all, it's me checking in. When I started CoinOpChips, I had every evening free to do the needful and shipped most items with next day service.

Due to "real life" getting in the way with weeks out of state with the "real job" and suffering from some eye-awakening health issues (think wondering if I'm going to check out), the quality of service has definitely suffered. I have just today caught up today with the huge backlog of orders from when I was out - thank you for your patience to those who ordered!

I realize that my rep suffered, but I have never done anyone in this hobby dirty (and never will). I did consider selling this online venture due to the lack of time I had for it but I have a lot of product at some reasonably good prices. Things have slowed down now around the holidays so I have more time to enjoy this side of the hobby.

My apologies to those who feel slighted, it was never my intention to do so - and this is coming from a guy who used to scoff at those who got really busy and didn't have "time".
