Hi Folks

Am looking for a hard head bootleg PCB that I can either buy, borrow, or one that you can take some good photos of. Specifically the daughterboard as that is what I need to fix my original one.

The daughterboard on the bootleg replaces a solid encryption block on the original which contains a load of circuity and a battery that is flooded with epoxy to create an unrepairable brick. The block contains the main Z80, a load of logic, a fat QFP something, and the battery on a two board PCB sandwich. Throw in a dozen or so looping link wires that snake through the block and it is impossible to get it apart without destroying it beyond repair.

My plan is to build my own version of the bootleg daughterboard, I have the PAL images from Porchy's awesome PLD archive site, and I know what components I need on the board. If you have one of these....

... and can help me out, please let me know.

Cheers
David

Hi Womble,
I have this bootleg although the piggyback board is missing one PAL (the one labeled as 'Har-3' on picture of JAMMArcade) so board is not working.I tried to burn the one from JAMMArcade but then I discovered that on my board two devices out three are registered and secured (PAL16R4 with pin11 is tied to GND) so I think the dumps we have are not good since they all came from three PAL16L8 (although equations seem good).
Anyway let me know if you need the piggyback board (or good scan of it with ICs removed) just to figure out connection.

Hiya - a scan of the board would be awesome, you have a PM.

Thanks :)
